Wine Tasting/Tour Fundraiser
Come join us at the Cherry Valley Vineyards for a Wine Tasting-Tour on Sunday June 13, 2010 from 3:30 - 5:30. ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY!!!
We will be having a tour of the facility along with cheese and crackers, and sparkling cider for non-wine drinkers. There will be a 50/50 also.
The proceeds of this event will benefit Pocono Animal Rescue (PAR) and the Monroe Animal League (MAL).
This is a rain or shine event with advance tickets only. $12.00 per person, for tickets please call 570-476-8444 or 570-476-1464.
Please come out and support us and all the helpless and homeless animals.

PAR'S Roots
BEFORE - AFTER
The roots of the Pocono Animal Rescue Inc. are found in the organization Helping Hands for Hungry Horses. In July of 2000 four severely neglected horses were found in Canadensis, Pennsylvania. With the cooperation of local police, the animals were rescued by a group of concerned horse owners and horse lovers. The same group organized Helping Hands for Hungry Horses to collect donations for the care of the horses. Thanks to generous contributions from the public the horses received the expert attention they needed and have made a full recovery. Many people in the Pocono Mountain region became aware of the need for a permanent organization to work on behalf of large domestic animals. With that mission in mind the organizers of Helping Hands for Hungry Horses founded the Pocono Animal Rescue Inc.
